Community Standards & Acceptable Use Policy

BytePulse is committed to a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. This policy defines expected user behaviour and enforcement.
1. Content Standards
Users must not post, share, or engage with content that:
- Hate Speech — attacks or incites hatred/violence against any group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition
- Harassment — targets, bullies, intimidates, or stalks any individual; includes doxxing, coordinated harassment, persistent unwanted contact
- Violent/Graphic Content — depicts, glorifies, or promotes real-world violence, terrorism, animal cruelty, or self-harm
- Sexual Content — pornographic, sexually explicit, or non-consensual intimate imagery
- Misinformation — deliberately spreads false information about verifiable facts, including health/election misinformation and deepfakes
- Spam and Manipulation — commercial spam, bot-generated content, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, feature manipulation
- Illegal Activity — drug trafficking, arms dealing, financial fraud, child exploitation
- IP Violation — reproduces copyrighted material without authorisation
- Impersonation — false representation of identity, affiliation, or authority
- Privacy Violations — sharing personal info (Aadhaar, phone numbers, addresses, private photos) without consent
2. Enforcement Actions

3. Reporting
Report violations via:
- In-app — tap the flag icon on any content
- Email — support@bytepulse.club with subject "Content Report"
All reports reviewed within 24 hours. Reporter identities kept confidential.
4. Transparency
We publish a biannual Community Standards Enforcement Report disclosing removals by category, accounts actioned, law enforcement referrals, and appeals outcomes.
