Copyright & Takedown Policy

BytePulse respects the intellectual property rights of third parties. This policy describes our content usage approach, copyright safeguards, and the takedown procedure.
1. Our Approach to Third-Party Content
We ingest content from publicly available RSS feeds, YouTube creator feeds, licensed wire services, and content partnerships. Our AI generates:
- Original transformative summaries that rephrase factual information without copying source expression
- Beyond Bias lens analyses providing comparative perspectives not present in any single source
- Contextual explainers synthesizing information for educational purposes
What We Display vs. Do Not
We display: AI-generated summaries, Beyond Bias outputs, source attribution, direct links to originals, source-grounded AI chat responses.
We do NOT display: Full-text reproductions of original articles, original photos or media (unless licensed), paywalled content, cached copies, or any content without proper attribution.
Originality Safeguards
- Prompts prohibit copying phrases longer than 5 words from source material
- Automated similarity checks — content with >30% similarity is regenerated
- Human editorial review on Breaking and high-visibility stories
- Source text is stored only for AI grounding and never surfaced to users
2. Attribution Standards
Every reference includes: publisher/creator name on the card, a tappable "Original" link, attribution within Beyond Bias analyses, and source citations in Deep Dive AI chat. Attribution is non-negotiable.
3. Takedown Procedure
If you are a copyright holder and believe content on BytePulse infringes your rights, submit a takedown notice. We process valid requests within 24 hours.

Required Information
- Clear identification of the copyrighted work(s) allegedly infringed
- Identification of the infringing content on the Platform (story URL, headline, or story ID)
- Your full name, organization, designation, and contact details
- Good-faith statement that the use is not authorised
- Statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate
- Your physical or electronic signature
Response Timeline

4. Counter-Notice
If content was removed in error, submit a counter-notice to admin@bytepulse.club within 10 business days with identification of removed content, statement under penalty of perjury, contact info, and consent to New Delhi jurisdiction. Reviewed within 7 business days.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
Sources generating three (3) or more valid copyright complaints within twelve months will be permanently removed from our pipeline. Users repeatedly posting infringing content will be terminated.
6. Publisher Opt-Out
Any publisher may request that their content not be ingested — no justification required. Email admin@bytepulse.club with subject "Publisher Opt-Out Request" and your feed URL(s). We remove and blocklist within 48 hours.
